Athletics and activities

Since opening in 2016, Skyridge has become one of the region’s most competitive athletic programs, fielding strong teams across football, basketball, and other sports and building fierce rivalries with Lehi, Lone Peak, and Corner Canyon. Northern Lehi feeds Skyridge High, including the Traverse Mountain area and much of the newer growth on the north and west sides of the city. Established central and eastern Lehi largely feeds Lehi High. Feeder junior highs on the north side of the city, including Lehi Junior High and the newer middle schools serving north Lehi such as Willowcreek and Viewpoint, route students toward Skyridge. Note that the Alpine School District is set to split into three smaller districts beginning in the 2027 to 2028 school year. Lehi is slated for the new central district alongside American Fork, Highland, Cedar Hills, and Alpine. School assignments are expected to carry over, but it is one more reason to verify boundaries on a current address.
